Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She knocked out all her opponents in the first round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at an "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a unanimity. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the second. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus for the performance of the evening. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home an unanimous decision in a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters received her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak.
